Access

Kefalonia is easily accessible by air and sea. Louis Apostolata Island Resort commands a prime location in southeastern Kefalonia, the island’s most accessible region, across from Patra—Greece’s western sea gate—and Killini, with its frequent sea-line connections.

Access by sea is almost limitless. Two daily ferry connections from Patra to Sami and up to eight daily ferry connections from Killini to Poros enable you to reach the island comfortably.

You can also fly into Kefalonia on one of the year-round daily domestic flights from Athens or via one of the numerous daily direct international flights from several European cities during the summer. With Kefalonia’s Argostoli International Airport located just 40 km away from our resort, you can enjoy the convenience of a short commute, allowing you and your little ones to start your vacation in stress-free fashion.

Once you’ve recharged your batteries, days of exploration are also easy – hop on our free shuttle bus service to the scenic villages of Skala or Poros, running six days a week. Ideal for beach-hopping, there are countless beaches to explore nearby. You can also enjoy the added convenience of a local bus stop outside the main resort entrance.
